Mermaid Look (BH COSMETICS 70'S PALLETE) + STEPS *ALL PRODUCTS USED ALL UNDER 20!*

                                                           My Mermaid Inspired look

I was inspired to do this look here by watching a random youtube makeup tutorial of Kat Von D she used a mint green and purples and I thought those colors looked pretty awesome with each other so decided to try my own makeup look.
KAT VON D'S VIDEO: CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO

So lets start
First I started off with a eyeshadow base and when using colored eyeshadow  you want to use a white primer which will really make your eyeshadows POP! I am using one of my all time favorite products that you can use for multiple uses NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the Shade MILK

These are the 3 colors I used for this look. Using the nice shimmer purple (MIDDLE) I applied it to my crease using a blending brush. I always used to apply my eyeshadow first on the lid then using a secondary color I'd blend it out, I found through applying the crease color first is a lot easier and it blends to me much better.

After blending out the shimmery purple I applied the mint green (for some reason doesn't look mint in the photo) with a regular eyeshadow brush to my lid patting it on gently so the color would stick while patting it in it seemed to start to blend with the purple fairly well.

My last step for eyeshadow was applying the dark greyish purple (LEFT) to my outer v with a blending brush and blended it into the previous colors. I find it easiest for me to pat a little bit of the color to the outer v and then blending it with the other colors. And with the same color I used a small precision brush and added it to my bottom lash line.

Moving on to eyeliner I did a simple winged liner for the look using my ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Since I was doing a cat eye with eyeliner I thought what better mascara is there to use the Maybelline
Colossal Cat Eye Mascara. After curling my lashes, I applied a few coats of that mascara.

Second to last step using a small precision brush I used my Covergirl single shadow (I've seen different names so I don't know what to call it, but the number is 350) in the corner of my eye as a highlight, I tend use this shadow as my highlight all the time.

My last step I used my ELF Liquid Liner in Stardust in my inner corner on top of the Covergirl shadow to give it some glitter :)

And here is the finished look

Thanks for reading! <3  Please don't mind my terrible nails I tried to support the giants and it was a total fail! lol

Small Ulta Haul

Hello everyone its me again and I am here with a small little haul from Ulta and at the time I had bought all of these items all Neutrogena, L'oreal and NYX products were 40% off so of course I had buy some stuff not much sadly but here is what I had purchased. (And yes some pictures have my tumblr name in them so they don't get stolen)

I have heard only but great reviews on this time overtime so I had to get it. Usually 9 dollars and I got it for 5 something. I tried it the other day and the brow pencil side seemed to fill in my brows pretty well (yet then again it was my first time using an eyebrow pencil) and the other side you use under your brow which makes a nice highlight under the brow and made the arch of the brow much more precise.

I needed a new concealer so I bought this one, I have yet to use it. I forgot the prices.

Again I have heard only but great things about this mascara and it is usually like 7 something I believe, I don't know, and I got it for only 4 something. I tried it for the first time and I do love it. I can't tell if I like it better the the rocket mascara.

I also bought another eyebrow pencil and this one has a small brush that makes it blend and not be so harsh. It worked okay but I don't know if I am too keen on it yet.

Of course I needed a new sharpener for my jumbo eye pencils etc.

This was a cute pink and in the bottom picture you can see on the swatches it
doesn't have hardly and color and it is too sheer for my liking.

I was in need of a nude lip stick and again in the swatches and I wanted a nude one and you can tell in the swatches it doesn't really appear too nude, it looks more orange then anything. I still will wear it though, I don't have a orangeish color./

I have been dying to try a matte lipstick of NYX's and I picked out this pale pink, its cute.

The swatches

Thank you all for checking it out, talk to you all later :)

Freeman's Charcoal Black Sugar Face Polishing Mask

Hey, everyone sorry for the lack of posts I was busy last week hanging out with my boyfriend who came to visit me last week, it was amazing by the way. This blog post is about a face mask I tried the day before he came because I wanted to have a nice soft face. I've heard a lot of good reviews on it so I thought why not and give it a try. Overall I liked the product, I loved that it was also a scrub beside it being a mask. Not going to lie I thought it was pretty strange that I was putting charcoal on my face and it does look a little odd.

This was the mask

Now its time to enjoy some lovely photos of my face. xD

One thing I wasn't too happy about was that I thought since it was a mask it would be easy to remove but it isn't like most face masks I have used this one you had to scrub off but I can understand why you had to since it is a scrub also, lol.

And this was the result

You can buy this mask at mainly any store I believe. I've seen the bigger size at ULTA and I got just the small one at Walmart.

Too Faced Rock N Roll Palette

When I saw this pallet I instantly knew I must get it because what better pallete is there for me? Makeup and Rock N Roll? That's calling my name! I absolutely love the packaging so much it is so beautiful and rocker looking. The colors, may not be my favorite colors and some of the color do not show very well on my skin. But here is the pallete and  the swatches at the bottom

Sorry for the not best quality photos of the swatches but it was at night time and the lighting in my bathroom isn't the greatest. Also, I'd like to say the color Rockabilly would NOT show up on my skin I tried swatching it but it just wasn't visible.

I will say I am overall happy with this pallete but I will see over time how the color pay off when I use them on my eyes.

Thanks for reading!

Misconceptions about people with tattoos and piercings

This is a subject I would like to touch on its about tattoos, body piercings, etc. (Mainly tattoos) but it can relate also to piercings and anybody modifications in general.

If you have a tattoos or piercings you can most likely relate to this. There are some close minded people out there that like to talk negative towards people with tattoos and piercings or just tattoos in general. Some people like to say it is a phase, sure, there is some teenagers that do get body piercings and within a few years take them out. But there is people like me, I got my first body piercing when I was 13 years old and I still have it to this day and I am now 18. And I went through a phase? If I went through a phase I believe I would have taken them out by now. Or maybe I'm just too immature and like to go against society's standards. Yep, I got piercings just to piss society off. NO, I didn't I got them because I have an interest in them and I actually like them.

Here are some main misconceptions about people with tattoos, piercings, etc.

Its Phase Its Phase (I already touched on that subject in the paragraph above)

You want attention
I for one HATE attention of people. I didn't get my piercings and tattoos to get people to look at me, I got them because I like them. I have always had an interest in tattoos and body piercings I think they are both amazing ways to express who you are.

People that have tattoos/piercings are considered rebels, bikers, degenerates etc.
This is far from true. Have you ever been on pintrest? There is tons of random girls and guys who don't fit the stereotype of any of those and they have tattoos.

This is the main thing that really irritates the living  shit out of me when people say this is

"Those are going to look terrible when you're older and you're going to regret them."

Really? Having tattoos is going to make me look terrible when I am older? What's it going to do make me look even worse when having saggy wrinkly skin looks amazing by itself?  To me its going to be something to look back at and think of the times when I got it in my life or it'll be just like another story to tell someone.

You're going to regret it...
How do you know what I am going to regret? How do you not know this tattoo could resemble something special in my life that I want to commemorate with having it as an art piece on my body. I don't see any tattoo something to regret if you have taken enough time to think about what it'll mean to you in the future and how it will resemble when you get older. Now drunken tattoos are another story.

It even shows in this poll of 80% of people don't regret getting a tattoo or tattoos that they have

So before you ever judge someone who has tattoos or a single tattoo, think to yourself, maybe that has something that means a lot to them, and maybe it doesn't mean they're rebelling against society. There is no need to to state your opinion to someone with tattoos, piercings, etc if they don't ask for it. If you don't like it, that's fine, don't get one.

That's my rant of the day lol.
