Mermaid Look (BH COSMETICS 70'S PALLETE) + STEPS *ALL PRODUCTS USED ALL UNDER 20!*

                                                           My Mermaid Inspired look

I was inspired to do this look here by watching a random youtube makeup tutorial of Kat Von D she used a mint green and purples and I thought those colors looked pretty awesome with each other so decided to try my own makeup look.

So lets start
First I started off with a eyeshadow base and when using colored eyeshadow  you want to use a white primer which will really make your eyeshadows POP! I am using one of my all time favorite products that you can use for multiple uses NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the Shade MILK

These are the 3 colors I used for this look. Using the nice shimmer purple (MIDDLE) I applied it to my crease using a blending brush. I always used to apply my eyeshadow first on the lid then using a secondary color I'd blend it out, I found through applying the crease color first is a lot easier and it blends to me much better.

After blending out the shimmery purple I applied the mint green (for some reason doesn't look mint in the photo) with a regular eyeshadow brush to my lid patting it on gently so the color would stick while patting it in it seemed to start to blend with the purple fairly well.

My last step for eyeshadow was applying the dark greyish purple (LEFT) to my outer v with a blending brush and blended it into the previous colors. I find it easiest for me to pat a little bit of the color to the outer v and then blending it with the other colors. And with the same color I used a small precision brush and added it to my bottom lash line.

Moving on to eyeliner I did a simple winged liner for the look using my ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Since I was doing a cat eye with eyeliner I thought what better mascara is there to use the Maybelline
Colossal Cat Eye Mascara. After curling my lashes, I applied a few coats of that mascara.

Second to last step using a small precision brush I used my Covergirl single shadow (I've seen different names so I don't know what to call it, but the number is 350) in the corner of my eye as a highlight, I tend use this shadow as my highlight all the time.

My last step I used my ELF Liquid Liner in Stardust in my inner corner on top of the Covergirl shadow to give it some glitter :)

And here is the finished look

Thanks for reading! <3  Please don't mind my terrible nails I tried to support the giants and it was a total fail! lol
